Hey everyone – 418 is approaching quickly!
Just to keep you updated, we will be presenting the 418 project to churches together on Tuesday evening at their AGM. If you are free at 7.30 and want to come along to support us, please do! It is at St David’s Church in Ty-Sign.
    See you there!

    I wanted to post a quick prayer…

    Father God,

I thank you for the vision that is 418 and the people already involved.

I pray that the presentation on Tuesday goes really well and that other churches want to get on board.

I pray for the people in Ty-Sign that they would be receptive to you and this project.

Create openings and opportunities for us to show your love to this community through our actions and words.

Provide volunteers, create a burning passion for Ty-Sign in our hearts. We want to see you move in a radical way.

    Please give us expectant hearts…

    Amen

    Ephesians 2:10

    (NIV)
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

    (The Message)
He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.

If you have a suggestion of a project, or you know someone who could do with a flyer through their door please let me know.
Keep 418 in your prayers… it is rapidly approaching, and there is lots to do!
Flyers will be ready for distribution from Sunday onwards. Thanks to everyone for your help so far!

    Hi Bec

Just wanted to say – following Wednesday evenings meet at the TLC shop, I feel the 418 project is pciking up momentum. Things are often slow to get going, but going they now are. Agape folk certainly now seem to be behind it.

Two things I think should be done:-
    1. Some focussed preaching/teaching on 418 & ‘transforming our communities’ means in terms of the Kingdom of God. I know we’ve dipped out toe in; perhaps we can persuade the preachers in forthcoming weeks to consider this.

    2. see if we can link with the youth at Moriah, not in terms of ‘them’ joining ‘our’ project, but rather ‘together’ we can make a difference.

I know you’ll agree with these things, but heh, I’ve now committed myself topublishing these thoughts, all in the good/God cause.
