All of us have in some way been affected by the COVID-19 situation. It may seem that life is on hold or your situation is getting worse. Agapé Community Church Ty – Sign in partnership with the international charity Christians Against Poverty are launching Kick Start. A series of bite sized video sessions to help people move forward in life.
We will be kicking off, if you pardon the pun, with a series about Looking after our Mental Health and Wellbeing. Four sessions over 4 weeks.
Every day, we face all sorts of pressure and challenge. This can seriously impact our mental health, which in turn can feed negative habits and cause even more pressure.
Now more than ever, it is vital that we prioritise our wellbeing and look after ourselves.
These sessions will help to equip you to deal with anxiety and worry, financial pressure, habits and grief and loss in a healthy way.
Each session will be held via Zoom and will be 40 mins in length. Starting on Tuesday August 25th at 7.30pm and for the following 3 Tuesday evenings.
To sign up or for more information please email me at johnpinkstone@capuk.org
Also coming up over the next few months we will also be looking at “How to take control of our finances” and “How to find a job”. So, watch this space.

  1. Colin Dexter Says:

Agapé will be running “Kick Start” from the 25th August. Kick Start is an initiative that has been resourced by CAP (and it’s free)
Topics like “looking after our mental health and well being”, “finding work” and “making your money go further”.
