You were created to enjoy God. The Westminster shorter catechism says, “Man’s chief end is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.” David wrote in Psalm 16:11, “You make known to me the path of life; 
in your presence there is fullness of joy; 
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” We were designed to seek enjoyment in God. We were made to delight ourselves in his goodness, his provision, the wonders of his creation, and the simplicity of his unconditional love.
