On Monday, a thousand communities in more than half the nations on earth will join together in praising God and declaring his greatness, day and night, for one whole week.

The Global Week of 24-7 Prayer is underway – with 124 nations and over 1,300 prayer rooms seeking God day and night. That’s more than 250,000 hours of prayer happening across the earth this week.

From homes and churches to schools and caravans, sacred spaces are opening everywhere, praying: “Lord, show us your glory.”

We’re just getting started, and we’re full of faith for what God will do in and through this united moment of global prayer.

Pietro Sarubbi, who played Barabbas in The Passion of the Christ, wasn’t just acting—he was being transformed.

Though he originally wanted to play Peter, Mel Gibson cast him as Barabbas, telling him: “Don’t look at Jesus until the moment your character is freed.”

When that moment came and his eyes met Jim Caviezel’s-Sarubbi said it felt like an electric shock. In that gaze, he felt as though Jesus was truly looking into his soul.

That single moment sparked a deep spiritual awakening that led him to embrace Christianity.
