A POLICE station was cordoned off last night when a suspected World War Two bomb was brought in after being found by a child.
A 100-metre cordon was set up around Risca police station in Tredegar Street after a World War Two mortar shell was brought in at 5.50pm by an adult member of the public.
This was after the youngster, whose age is not known, found the shell in water, believed to be the River Ebbw, close by.
