Care for the Family Launches first Charity Shop

by Colin Dexter

Care for the Family are about to launch their first charity shop. It’s an exciting new venture to help us to raise funds, which will be used to support the work of the charity, providing subsidised holidays to single parent families, supporting bereaved parents and young widows, and producing new resources to help parents in the daily challenges they face. We also aim to raise awareness of what we can do for families to a broader audience.

Care for the Family is a Cardiff based charity that is much loved by  Christians in the UK and has been working to strengthen family life since 1988. Our aim is to promote strong  relationships and to help those who face family difficulties. We believe that every family should have somewhere to turn for support in both the good times and when life is challenging.

Working throughout the UK and the isle of Man, we provide parenting, relationship and bereavement support through our events, resources, courses training and volunteer networks. Our work is motivated by Christian compassion  and our resources and support are available to everyone, of any faith or none.

We will open on Saturday the 29th March Please call in and shop for a fantastic bargain in a relaxed and stylish  environment.  We are at 13 Whitchurch Rd, CF14 3JN.

If you would like to volunteer at the shop please contact Lesley Smith on 078 233 44469 or email
