29th March Care For Family

by Colin Dexter

We are delighted to announce that Care for the Family will open its first ever charity shop on Saturday 29 March and we’d like to invite you to join us on this special day.

Our vision is to open a shop which has the same spirit of excellence and generosity that underpins the work of Care for the Family. Our hope is that it will not only be a beacon of light in the city of Cardiff for families but that it will also generate funds for our wider work in Wales and throughout the UK.

Lesley and Deputy Manager Sian Thomas will always be on hand to ensure that your shopping experience is a pleasurable one.

The shop is situated on 13 Whitchurch Road in Cardiff (Postcode is Cf14 3JN) and we will be joined by Care for the Family’s founders, Rob and Dianne Parsons, who will attend to the official ribbon cutting at 10.30am.

You’re welcome to join us then and anytime throughout the day. We’ll be open from 10.30am to 4.30pm and there’ll be tea, coffee, cupcakes and live music throughout the day. If you’re able to call in and join us in the celebration we’d be delighted to see you.

Hope you can make it!

Pinewood Studio Wales will be created at the former Energy Centre building at Wentloog, Cardiff, and will form part of Pinewood’s global network of film studios.

A number of potential undisclosed projects have already been identified, with a view to the Pinewood Wales Studio being operational later this year.
