Now that I have experienced forgiveness and grace in my life,no-one could tell me that Jesus isn’t real. I’m not perfect but God has done so much in my life. Richard returned home after having to flee his home when it was attacked by Ugandan rebels in 2003. after losing almost everything he had,Richard was in despair and had turned to drink.

But everything changed when he heard a church message describing Jesus as the cornerstone. what he heard spoke directly to his heart, and he was compelled as he says “to make my life straight”

When Richard gave his life To Jesus Christ his life totally changed. the way he spoke & behaved especiallly toward his wife.

Q became a christian through satellite TV. His wife noticed that his life had changed,discovered his new faith…and brought him to the imam. He was given a stark choice:return to Islam or lose his wife and children. He chose Christ. He lost his wife & family. ” this is a tragedy” Q says ” but with the help of the Holy Spirit I wil overcome all of this”.

God has put a smile on my face again and began to heal my heart. I have hope for the future, love for people and I don’t feel numb anymore-praise the Lord!

I came to Soul Survivor full of anxiety and fear that was consuming my life and my relationships. But God has set me free; I feel like the sun is shining inside me as I am full of the Holy Spirit and I haven’t felt this hopeful in a long time.

I feel a new reliance on God and even greater commitment to live my life fully for him, using my skills to further the kingdom of God.

I broke my arm in 2007 and Doctors told me I’d never be able to straighten it again because of the nerve damage. After prayer this week I can fully straighten it again!

After attending a ‘Hope Night’ on shore presenting the crewmembers’ culture and faith, a woman visited Logos Hope & had a tour. Aided by a translator, the tour guide explained how crewmembers live and why they decide to join. At the end , the woman explained to the translator in Spanish that she could see Jesus Christ working through the ship people, and because of that, she believed that “He is indeed alive”. She then gave her own life to God.

“morning & evening I read the Bible, savouring each moment and for the first time became convinced that God existed. I wanted to praise & worship this great God. One day I just opened the Bible & fell upon John’s Gospel. I was totally amazed! what I read was was personally addressed to me, it was a true revelation. The living Jesus was speaking to me, His message was for me, it was relevant and spoke profoundly to me.”
