Created for?
You were created to enjoy God. The Westminster shorter catechism says, “Man’s chief end is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.” David wrote in Psalm 16:11, “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” We were designed to seek enjoyment in God. We were made to delight ourselves in his goodness, his provision, the wonders of his creation, and the simplicity of his unconditional love.

Do You believe this?
25 Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life.[e] Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. 26 Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this
From A friend in New Zealand 6th Jan 2016
According to my original prognosis, which hasn’t been revised, I have a maximum of 18 days left on planet earth (though I fully intend to make a nonsense of that). So how would you spend your last 18 days? For me, it is family, obviously; a bit of cricket, tennis and footy; and helping followers of Jesus to share their faith with others, through training at 2 New Wine festivals, and writing new material which is more accessible to a wide range of people. After all, eternity lasts a lot longer than the longest life on earth!
If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him
John 11
49 Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, spoke up, “You know nothing at all!
50 You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish.”
51 He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation,
52 and not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of God, to bring them together and make them one.
What does the Education minister say about RE?
Mrs Morgan said: “This government is determined to protect schools’ freedom to set their own religious studies curriculum, in line with the wishes of parents and the local community.
“The guidance I have issued makes absolutely clear that the recent judicial review will have no impact on what is currently being taught in religious education.
“I am clear that both faith and non-faith schools are completely entitled to prioritise the teaching of religion and faith over non-religious world views if they wish.”
The guidelines added that non-faith schools should “reflect the fact that the religious traditions in Great Britain are, in the main, Christian whilst taking account of the teaching and practices of the other principal religions represented in Great Britain”.
