We ve been getting loads of kids coming to the kids clubs so much so that there is a waiting list in the afternoons as we currently take 55 kids and thats meant that we all work at the church in the afternoon and we work at converting the gym in the morning consisting of mainly chiselling tiles and shovelling rubble. The church are helpng us some more in the clubs with translating and we re getting to know them better when we invite us for lunch or use our neighbours swimming pool.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. HEB 11 v 1 & 6

The team of 11 arrived safely. They are workng with a church in Recife on the North-East coast. The plan is to kick start some social action projects with the youth at the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Piedade. Continue to pray for Owain.

How would you feel if it was up to the government to decide what religious view you were allowed to express?
The “Defamation of Religions Resolution” has been tabled at the UN by certain countres and if passed will allow governments the power to determine which religious views can and can’t be expressed & give the right to punish “unacceptable views”. ie LEGAL Persecution!!
